To sit in a makeup chair is a universal treat. A dewy sponge, a precision pencil, the tickle of a giant brush. What’s more, the makeup artist sees you: eye-to-eye, in close-up. Even if you don’t talk, it can be a surprisingly intimate experience.
This closeness is what draws Lindsey Jones to brides, and what keeps her company in high demand for weddings. The San Diego native found her calling young—while studying abroad, and prepping friends for the endless party in Madrid. Back home,, Bobbi Brown saw her talent, and brought her quickly on board.
In the blink of an eyelash, Lindsey found herself in New York City, assisting Bobbi herself on shoots. That same year, she launched Lindsey Jones Makeup Artistry, offering pretty, durable, studio-quality makeup for weddings, galas, fundraisers, and other monumental events.
Lindsey’s makeup is classically pretty: fresh cheeks, pink lips, soft lashes, wide-open peepers. She and her staff have worked on thousands of features, faces, and skin tones.
Lindsey is on the roster for the world’s top modeling agencies. But she prefers to put everyday women in the makeup chair—and spoil them rotten (every session starts with a face massage). She loves what she does, and—together with her team—laughs her way through, reducing wedding-day jitters and putting everyone at ease.
