Vogue Paris feature with Christina Sfez

Iridescent eyeliner, French lace, a Barcelone photographer, a quintessential 60’s SoCal motel and a hot model chic… throw it all together, and what do you get? A Vogue Paris Feature! YIPPEEE!!!

I had such a wonderful day on set! Amongst the whole team for this shoot we spoke 5 different languages and communicated primarily in English… which made for a very interesting time! Martina said my Spanish had a Mexican accent which I found very entertaining. I felt really cool hanging out with all these talented people. Aaaand couple days ago I found out the collection was featured in Vogue Paris!!!!!! so here’s a little about the makeup, behind the scenes pics and the beautiful images from the shoot!

Check the Vogue Paris highlight on my Insta for more behind the scenes!

I did 3 makeup looks total. The first was VERY natural, soft brows, 5 little bunches of individual lashes, fresh skin and a nude lip.

Then for the second look I used a white Morphe eyeliner, then layered lash glue on top and pressed in some fine iridescent glitter that I bought at michaels. I would recommend just getting the Urban Decay glitter eyeliner in Distortion. It’s way easier to apply, less mess, more precise and you’ll get the same effect!

It was an absolute honor to work with such an amazing team and I can’t wait to do it again! Thank you all!

For the last look I applied lash glue all over the model’s lid and pressed a medium to chunky sized silver glitter all over her lid. I really love how it catches the light.

Iconic 70's Southern California Styled Shoot

This was an absolutely MAGICAL shoot!!! I was beyond excited to work with Christina Svez, a french wedding designer who recently moved to San Diego. She asked me if I was interested in doing something like this and obvi I was ecstatic!!!

The venue was this rad house called: We Bunk You, 5147 Cape May Avenue, San Diego 92107.

The makeup I did was soft (as per the eyoosh), but I kept the brow thinner than I normally would, the skin a little dewier ( I wanted a shine, not so powdery) and the under eye not quite as bright. Eye liner all around was a must... the style of photography was a little more 70's as well... warmer... not as bright as the newer trends and a little more real looking (just not as istagrammy is what I'm saying).

Urghhh I'm just dying over this beauty! The sunlight in her hair... Ahhh! I just LOVE IT!!! Thank you to the entire team that made this shoot a total success! I really appreciate you all and I can't wait for the next one!
